Adopted text on the work: The project translocation_(new) media art included an exhibition of the same name, focused on the former Eastern bloc countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Slovenia), which presented the collection of material created mostly unofficially, ie. video archives, slides-archives and the Samizdat. Eastern European archives were highly valued as authentic representations of the local scenes and the previously unknown parts of the European visual culture. The exhibition marked a shift to a ineterregional confrontation and a change of perspective from what have been seen so far as Eastern projects.
Czech part of the exhibition represented a selection of Samizdat publications on art (total of 26 publications) and further processed a collection of 200 slides of unofficial events - Terezín 1980 Most 1981-2, Malostranske Courtyards 1981, Meeting, Tennis courts Sparta 1982, Symposium Chmelnice- Mutějovice 1983, Confrontation 1984-1987.
Selected slides have been processed in a media workshop in Vienna until the 45th min. of the recording (Ruth Maurer, Jiri Sevcik).
