M.S.: Mountain introduces stopping, immobilizing as an approach to calmness. Mountain is an image of meditation, a state when everything exterior goes silent, and that which is inside awakens.
K.Ž.: I needed to experience mountain, to stand nearby, or underneath. There is always some appropriate distance, and eyes adjust the point of view. In the past, I'd remain alone at a very highly situated town in the Savoy Alps, and I passed trough mixture of amazement but consternation, splendour but also submission - because the mountain tops were covered in clouds almoust all day, but the landscape under the mountains could not be seen because it was drowning in fog. It was a very strange feeling, caught in space and time. I think that mountain could be an image that can we call human destiny?
