Adopted text on the work: A fatalistic ballad about love for alcohol and how there is a place in heaven for each of us. The protagonist heads home from the Red Yard detox center. He knows that he is risking death, but does not hesitate to eagerly bring it on. A banal story, filmed in a red tone and featuring poetic images of nature and close-ups of flowers and clouds: the dark side of the soul is in direct contact with the circle of life. The sentimental mood is underscored by the soundtrack: Michael Nyman’s The Heart Asks Pleasure First from The Piano and Heaven for Everyone by Queen.
