Adopted text on the work: A silent film with intertitles about magic that is for more than just entertainment. Director Michal Pěchouček placed Vít Soukup in the role of a failed illusionist, while himself playing a member of the audience who unwittingly participates in a bizarre magic trick. This homage to Vít Soukup and his cinematic style can also be read as an Oedipal story: Kill your spiritual father so that you may grow and mature.
