Adopted text on the work: Particip No. 39 is a collection of phrases and situations familiar to almost all of us. Tomáš Vaněk has collected them since 2004. In 2006, Tomáš Vaněk and Zbyněk Baladrán talked about the poetic nature of these phrases which, when read, may evoke an experience resembling that of an existentialist novel. Zbyněk Baladrán made his video Eva as a spontaneous reaction to his conversation with Vaněk.
