Corded plays with our perception of the motion in general and with the way we usually watch videos. It depicts a series of short stories from the city where everything is on the move. Moving objects are fixed on a specific spot and - in relation to the surface on which it is being projected - it actually stops moving. Instead of that the usually still surroundings move. That is where the paradox of motion originates - the viewer is then unconsciously forced to observe that one spot instead of the video itself. The spot where are objects fixed alludes to the rennaisance favour of compositions that ensure a pleasant view and was chosen with the help of golden ratio rule.
