VVP AVU at Multiplace

Monday, April 28, 2008, since 2:30 PM at Dům pánů z Kunštátu, Dominikánská 9, Brno.

International festival of new media and network culture Multiplace started in the year 2000 as an initiative of several Slovakian art and culture organisations. It works as a decentralised project where each of participating institutions creates its own program and raises its own funds. In the year 2005 there were 20 organisers from six countries taking part in the festival.

Between 25th April and 3rd May 2008 a series cultural and interdisciplinary events (art projects, installations, lectures, collaborative workshops) will take place in Brno as the part of this year`s Multiplace festival.

One of the Brno-based section of the festival events will be a series of presentations and lectures named Nová média. Mnohost perspektiv / New Media. Variety of Perspectives, It will take place on 28th and 29th of April and it will be divided into three sections:

  1. Internet archives, databases and project on mediation of art
  2. New media in education
  3. New media in theories

A presentation of VVP AVU activities will take place within the first section on April 28th.
